Last month, I successfully developed an online Pashto typing application — a project that many of our Pashto-speaking friends had been waiting for. Today, I’m proud to share that thousands of users from Afghanistan, Pakistan, and many other countries are using and enjoying this platform.
Our Pashto Typing website, developed in Afghanistan, has become a valuable tool for learners, students, journalists, and professionals who want to type in Pashto quickly and accurately. I am deeply thankful to everyone who has supported, encouraged, and shared this project — your feedback and motivation helped it reach this level of success.
Why I Created Pashto Typing
Many people requested that I create an online Pashto typing website. While almost every language already had its own typing platform, Pashto did not. That’s when I decided to build one for our language and our people.
With PashtoTyping, you can:
- Learn how to type in Pashto from Alif (ا) to Ya (ی)
- Check your typing speed and accuracy
- Improve your speed through interactive typing games
- Earn a free typing certificate upon completion
- View your profile and dashboard for progress tracking
It’s a full-featured, free online Pashto typing website that makes learning easy, fun, and productive.
Development Journey and Cost
The Pashto Typing project took me around six months to develop — I worked on it completely by myself in the beginning. Now, I am not alone; I have the amazing support of users like you.
Every month, I invest around $100 for hosting, domain maintenance, Facebook ads, Google promotion, and email marketing to keep the website running smoothly and reach more Pashto speakers worldwide.
A Small Request 🙏
I kindly invite you to use and share this Pashto Typing website to help promote and preserve the Pashto language. Please share it with your friends, classmates, teachers, and online communities — on Facebook, WhatsApp, Telegram, and beyond.
If you’re a journalist, blogger, or website owner, feel free to publish an article about Pashto Typing — I’ve written a detailed version that you can freely share on your site.
My current Pashto typing speed is around 55 WPM — I’d love to know yours! Share your results in the comments below.
